We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Code Sensei (Teacher) to inspire and educate students in the exciting field of computer science and coding for the summer! This role involves guiding students through coding concepts, problem-solving, and developing their digital literacy skills in a classroom or workshop setting.
Duties
- Deliver engaging lesson plans focused on coding, computer science, and related topics tailored to various age groups.
- Create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.
- Utilize classroom experience and computer skills to manage educational activities effectively.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating learning space conducive to active participation.
Skills
- Experience working with children in educational or tutoring settings.
- Strong background in computer science or related fields.
- Excellent teaching abilities with the capacity to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Classroom experience that demonstrates effective classroom management and student engagement techniques.
- Passion for teaching technology, coding, and fostering digital literacy among students.
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
