Job Purpose
As an RV Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical assistance to clients bringing in their recreational vehicles for repairs, maintenance, and upgrades. You will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, managing their service requests from intake to completion. Your role involves assessing the needs of RV owners, coordinating with service technicians, and ensuring that all repairs and maintenance are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Customer Service: Greet customers and assess their service needs. Listen to their concerns, questions, and preferences regarding RV maintenance and repairs. Provide friendly, professional, and knowledgeable assistance throughout the service process.
· Service Intake and Assessment: Conduct thorough inspections of customers' RVs to identify issues, document concerns, and determine the necessary repairs or maintenance services. Provide accurate quotes and estimations. Work closely with customers to prioritize repairs based on urgency, safety, and budget considerations.
· Technical Support: Offer technical guidance and recommendations to customers regarding RV repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance. Explain service procedures, warranties, and pricing information clearly and accurately.
· Parts and Inventory Management: Assist customers in selecting the appropriate parts and accessories for their RVs. Work with parts department to ensure necessary parts are available/ordered for repairs.
· Communication and Follow-Up: Keep customers informed about the status of their RVs throughout the service process. Provide regular updates on repair progress, estimated completion times, and any additional services or repairs that may be required. Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or feedback.
· Administrative Tasks: Complete service paperwork, invoices, and documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service histories, and warranty information using computerized systems and software applications.
· Quality Assurance: Conduct final inspections of completed service work to verify that all repairs have been performed correctly and meet quality standards. Address any issues or discrepancies promptly and ensure customer satisfaction with the service experience.
Qualifications
· 1+ years’ experience working as a Service Advisor in the automotive or RV industry.
· Prior experience in customer service, automotive/RV service, or a related field is highly desirable.
· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and service technicians.
· Knowledge of RV systems, components, and maintenance procedures is considered an asset.
· Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask are essential.
· A positive attitude, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Hours of work:
· Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 5pm
· Rotation of Saturdays - 8:00am - 5pm.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
