As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a full-time Intermediate Accountant.
The ideal candidate will hold a Canadian accounting degree, have at least five years of relevant accounting experience, and be actively working toward a CPA designation.
What You’ll Do
- Manage full-cycle month-end procedures and financial reporting
- Prepare monthly management accounts for multiple entities
- Process monthly and periodic payments across multiple entities
- Complete monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
- Reconcile intercompany accounts and transactions
- Prepare and submit CRA filings, including GST and payroll remittances
- Assist with financial analysis, reporting, and other accounting-related projects as required
What You’ll Bring
- A Canadian degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or a related discipline
- A minimum of five years of relevant accounting experience
- Progress toward a CPA designation
- Experience managing full-cycle accounting for multiple companies
- Experience working with multi-currency transactions
- Expert/Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with strong proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- A strong work ethic, professional attitude, and commitment to confidentiality
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
