Duties
- Safely operate commercial trucks with an emphasis on cross-border freight transportation, adhering to all safety protocols and traffic laws.
- Manage freight loading and unloading processes ensuring secure handling of cargo.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after trips, performing basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to prevent delays.
- Navigate border crossings efficiently by completing all necessary documentation accurately and promptly.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customs officials, and clients to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that arise during transit.
- Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, freight details, inspection reports, and incident documentation to ensure compliance with regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record. MINIMUM 2 YEARS
- Proven experience in commercial driving, especially in cross-border freight transportation.
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and automotive repair basics for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues.
- Strong understanding of customs procedures and border crossing requirements.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members, clients, and border officials.

Pay: $100,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
