The Assistant Housekeeping Supervisor supports the Housekeeping Manager with the daily operation of the housekeeping department. This is a hands on position that includes regular housekeeping duties, as well as supervisory responsibilities when the Housekeeping Manager is away.
The successful candidate will help ensure guestrooms, public areas, laundry areas, and housekeeping storage areas are clean, organized, and maintained to hotel standards. This role also assists with room inspections, staff support, training, and daily coordination

Duties
- Perform regular housekeeping duties, including cleaning guestrooms and public areas
- Assist with supervising housekeeping staff during assigned shifts
- Help assign daily room cleaning duties and follow up on progress
- Inspect guestrooms, hallways, and public areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met
- Support the training and onboarding of new housekeeping employees
- Provide guidance and support to room attendants and laundry staff
- Respond to guest requests and housekeeping concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Report maintenance issues, damages, lost items, or safety concerns
- Assist with inventory, restocking, and organization of housekeeping supplies
- Help ensure hotel policies, safety procedures, and cleanliness standards are followed
- Fill in for the Housekeeping Manager when required
Experience
- Previous hotel housekeeping experience is required
- Supervisory or leadership experience is an asset
- Strong attention to detail
- Good organization and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Able to work in a fast paced hotel environment
- Reliable, dependable, and team oriented
- Must be available weekends and holidays
- Basic computer skills are an asset

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
