Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Pipelayer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment operation, and pipe installation. This role involves working on various pipeline projects, ensuring safety, precision, and efficiency throughout the process. Candidates should possess mechanical knowledge and experience with a variety of tools and machinery to successfully execute their duties in a dynamic construction environment. Typical projects include water, sanitary and storm mains and services.
Responsibilities
- Lay and install underground pipelines using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment.
- Assist with trenching, shoring, and excavation activities to prepare sites for pipeline installation.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of equipment to ensure operational safety.
- Follow project plans and specifications accurately while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards
Experience
- Proven experience in pipelaying or related construction roles involving heavy equipment operation.
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, rigging and more.
- Prior work involving welding or fusion is a plus.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments with attention to safety regulations and procedures

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45.0 – 55.0 per week
