Pro-Direct Industriel (PDI) is a leader in the field of specialized industrial overhead crane and Mill Equipment. We are Exclusive Representatives for several major manufacturers, such as Hubbell/Gleason Reel, HDT HVAC, and Cattron Controls.
PDI also represents several Crane Component Companies, such as Kito, R&M, CMCO, and Stahl, offering a wide range of products, consisting of hoists, end trucks, winches, jibs, monorail systems and specialized under-the-hook accessories.
We are currently looking for a person to join our sales team, as a technical outside sales representative for the Province of Ontario.
Reporting to the Sales Director, the representative will participate actively in business development by promoting and selling all the Distribution products we have, such as Hoists, and under the hook lifting devices, AC & DC Crane control, Electrification Equipment, Cable reels, festoon systems, AC & DC Drum and Disc brakes, Radio Remote Control for Cranes, Mining equipment & Locomotives, Magnets & Magnet controls, as well as turnkey applications where our products can be used.
The representative will be active in supporting relationships with existing customers, as well as developing new customers on a daily basis. We are looking for a dynamic outside technical sales representative, that doesn’t mind getting his hands dirty, with our users.
Besides the distribution side of the mandate, the representative will also be involved in turnkey projects that will require working in coordination with the internal engineering team and the different sub-contractors required for project realisation.
Base salary will be combined with a sales commission rate.
