Dr. Roy Wilson Learning Center (DRWLC) is looking to fill a 1.00 FTE full-time, temporary position for August 27, 2026 to June 30, 2027. DRWLC is located in the southeast area of the city and serves 700 students from ELP to grade 9. It is a dynamic and innovative school with a commitment to creating engaging learning experiences for students.
This position will require teaching in all subject areas with the exception of Music.
The successful candidate will be required to support the school's mission, vision and values to
create authentic connections and provide meaningful learning for students. A commitment to the school's core values of Respect, Community, Responsibility and Engagement are essential. This position will also include embedded collaborative time with other grade five teachers to meet the needs of all students. Experience with differentiation and supporting
students will literacy and/or numeracy interventions will be an asset.
DRWLC staff are collaborative, caring, and committed to working with students to support their academic and personal development. The individual selected to fill this position will be an active participant in the learning community and add positively to the overall culture of the school.
