If you are passionate about shoes, SAS Comfort Shoes in Burnaby is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Part Time Retail Sales Associate to join our team. We are offering 20 - 25 hours per week with the opportunity to pick up more hours during peak season.

Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to customers
- Engage in upselling to maximize sales opportunities
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain merchandising standards and organize products on the sales floor
- Provide personalized customer service to enhance satisfaction and loyalty
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Keep the sales area organized, clean, and well-stocked
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
- Support team members in achieving store sales goals through effective communication and collaboration
Requirements
- Previous retail sales experience is preferred, especially in technology or product demos
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening
- Ability to work effectively in a bilingual environment; proficiency in multiple languages is a plus
- Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Knowledge of merchandising principles and retail operations
- Ability to perform basic cashiering duties accurately
- Flexibility to work varied shifts as needed; weekend availability is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products and enhance customer experience
