We are looking for an experienced Electrician to join our growing team. This role offers a 50% Residential and 50% Commercial split, ensuring dynamic and engaging projects. More importantly, we are looking for future leaders. For the right candidate, this position has growth potential into one of our Team Leaders and eventually a potential Service Manager role. In this role, you will work closely with other Electricians and Apprentices, acting as a key partner on larger commercial projects and taking the lead on various residential service calls and installations.
Experience with residential service upgrades and panel replacements is required; specifically with upgrading 60A to 100A or 200A services. Must have a clean drivers license and work well with others.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Charge: Take ownership of residential service upgrades (both overhead and underground) from start to finish.
- Commercial & Residential Execution: Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and control systems across both commercial and residential job sites.
- Inspector Relations: Work closely and professionally with city inspectors to ensure smooth project approvals.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance, training, and safety mentorship to apprentices on your team.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose complex electrical issues, identify root causes, and implement safe, efficient solutions.
- Project Management: Collaborate with team members to ensure all projects are completed safely, on time, and within code.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Certified Journeyman: Valid Alberta Electrician License or Interprovincial Red Seal equivalent (Required).
- Code Expert: Deep, up-to-date knowledge of the current Canadian Electrical Code (CEC).
- Service Upgrade Experience: Minimum 5 year of hands-on experience specifically with Residential Overhead & Underground Service Upgrades (Required).
- Commercial Experience: Proven experience handling commercial electrical systems and installations.
- Problem Solver: Exceptional troubleshooting skills and strong attention to detail.
- Valid Driver’s License: Clean driving record and reliable transportation (Required).
- Location: Must reside in the Edmonton area.
