Assistant Property Manager
In this position you will be assisting the Property Managers with daily duties. The Property
Manager will support you in all aspects of the job, which includes:
● Overseeing daily administration of the properties
● Listing properties and apartments on zumper, rentals.ca, rentsync, or other websites
● Take professional pictures, videos and 3D tours of apartments
● Responsible for all the logistics of booking and doing showings to new tenants
● Prepare all lease related paperwork, including the tenant application process, reviewing,
● screening and approving the applications, and if in need, connect with the tenant for
further details
● Conducting monthly inspections for each unit moving out inspections
● Be the point of contact for tenants inquiries including track tenant maintenance requests
● Serving as a point of contact with property managers, cleaning, maintenance, and
leasing staff for any specific work
● Analyzing problems with properties and finding the best solution for the tenant and
property manager
● Working with the maintenance staff, have to make sure the job is done properly, and
should
● track of billable hours for services done for the company’s clients
● Responsible for drafting notices to tenants, including entering units, rent increases, and
maintenance notices
● Assisting with General Maintenance of the property such as changing filters, Door lock
batteries and inspecting smoke detectors.
Additionally we may require the following tasks as well:
Assisting with the complete construction projects, including
o finding potential properties,
o permit approvals
o procurement of trades and contractors
o design and staging
o making the available for listing and selling
Requirements:
● Student in a business/real estate undergraduate, or relevant program
● Have interest in the real estate and property management field
● Strong communication and excellent listening skills to deal with tenants, property
managers and
● any other stakeholders
● Excellent problem solving, attention to detail and strong organizational skills

● Have to be tech savvy, able to work with online listing applications as well as word and

Requirements:
● Valid Driver License (ideally own Vehicle
Ideal Candidates must be located in Toronto or willing to relocate to Toronto
Employer will interview candidates as they come in, it is recommended to apply
Pay: $39,263.65-$45,000.00 per year
