Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Officer to oversee our financial operations. The ideal candidate will manage accounting processes, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support budgeting and financial analysis activities. Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, and Xero is essential to maintain efficient financial workflows and ensure compliance with organizational policies. Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections
- Prepare, review, and reconcile financial statements using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
- Oversee payroll processing to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations
- Conduct account reconciliation and account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities
- Assist in budgeting activities by preparing financial forecasts and monitoring expenses against budgets
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and ensure data integrity within accounting systems
- Support audit preparations by providing necessary documentation and reports
- Implement internal controls to safeguard organizational assets and ensure adherence to financial policies
Requirements
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, with familiarity using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and budgeting processes
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for account reconciliation and analysis tasks
- Ability to adapt quickly to new accounting software and technology tools
- Effective organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant educational background in finance, accounting, or related field is preferred
- Prior experience with account reconciliation and financial reporting is highly desirable
Pay: $35.61-$65.66 per hour
