Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Labourer to join our team and support various construction projects. This role involves assisting licensed plumbers and performing a variety of manual tasks to ensure the successful completion of construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and basic knowledge of construction-related skills. Prior experience with hand tools, is a plus but not required. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry and develop a diverse skill set.
Duties
- Assist with general construction tasks including site preparation, material handling, and cleanup
- Use hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and caulking guns to support various trades
- Perform restoration work and construction painting as needed
- Assist with plumbing
- Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure work environmentExperience
- Prior experience with hand tools and basic construction tasks is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor for extended periods
Work boots, hard hat and safety glasses and tape measure are required.This position provides valuable on-the-job training and opportunities for career growth within the construction industry. Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
