We are searching for a talented Social Media and Marketing Coordinator to join our team. The Social Media and Marketing Coordinator, will report to the General Manager, and will be responsible for creating social media content and developing positive, on-going relationships with local community organizations on behalf of the restaurant. This position is a part-time entry-level marketing role with great growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop content to increase community engagement online
- Create successful social media ad campaigns that will generate sales/leads
- Manage online community (Facebook, Instagram, other social sites, email database)
- Manage and assist the management team in the execution of national and local store marketing initiatives
- Build positive, on-going relationships with local businesses, schools, sports teams and community organizations
- Identify and capitalize on key opportunities in the community to raise the profile of the brand
- Manage contact database and submit weekly tracking sheets
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Post-secondary education in public relations, sales or marketing, preferred
- Experience creating social media content, preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of social channels and social media advertising platforms
- Ability to work on tight deadlines
- Flexibility
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong organization and computer skills
- Energetic, self-starter and team player
- Event planning experience an asset
- Own vehicle is an asset
