Parts And Service Advisor
Bobcat of Penticton is looking for a driven individual to join our team as Parts And Service Advisor. Preference will be given to an individual with knowledge of parts sales and inventory management in the industrial construction field.
· Responsible for the distribution of parts for customer retail sales, service repairs and equipment sales.
· Order and receive parts into inventory, manage an accurate parts warehouse.
· Greet customers over the phone, email and in-person providing accurate and timely parts and service.
· Process internal and retail work orders, order shop supplies, issue purchase orders
· Educate customers on product usage and provide them with advice for maintenance and installation.
· Support the sales division with getting machines ready for delivery.
· Organize merchandise and modify displays to reflect current inventory sales and promotions.
· Maintain cleanliness of workstation, lobby and customer facing areas.
· Assist Parts Manager in annual inventory counts and quarterly vendor returns.
· Promote teamwork between departments and throughout organization.
· Cultivate professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, participating in local networking functions, and renewing certifications as required.

· Must be highly organized, manage time well, and have a strong attention to detail with consistent customer focus.
· Invested in gaining working knowledge of all equipment available in each of our locations.

· Ability to operate forklift, skid steer and excavator an asset.
· Experience researching parts for various equipment types and manufacturers.
· Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and Point of Sales systems.
· Efficient, organized and responsible use of email and computer filing systems.
· Effective use of vendor and industry websites for product sourcing and cataloging.
· Rentals – all aspects of our rental department. Booking rentals, organizing transportation, schedule maintenance ETC
· Bobcat of Penticton and Bobcat of Vernon are a division of Chilkoot Equipment Ltd. We offer a competitive wage package including salary and benefits.
