TrenTech Inc. established in 2011 is a custom machine fabrication shop delivering quality products to our valued customers. We are a busy shop looking to add a Welder/Fitter to our excellent team. TrenTech Inc. offers a unique manufacturing work environment where hours are appealing and generally stable (typically 6am-2pm Monday to Friday).
Duties & Responsibilities
- Welding, Fabrication and Assembly
- Rig, hoist and move materials within worksite
- Follow customer specs and meet quality requirements
- Follow direction of team lead and support team in meeting project goals and deadlines
- Observe and adhere to all Health and Safety regulations (including OHSA & WSIB) as well as establish workplace safety procedures
Qualifications
- Must be able to demonstrate strong competency with both welding and fitting
- Must be able to pass a CWB certified welding test
- Must be able to work in a fast paced, quality driven production environment
- Must be able to follow instruction, as well as read and interpret instructional documents such as drawings, blueprints and safety rules
- Must have strong mathematical and mechanical skills
- Able to multi-task and meet production deadlines
- Willing to work overtime when necessary
- Must provide own helmet and certain trade tools
- Must have reliable transportation
This is a full time position offering 40 hours per week.
Only those already living and legally able to work currently in Canada will be considered for this position.
