Brenta Construction Inc. brings over 30 years of experience as a reliable concrete forming contractor in Metro Vancouver. We specialize in complex projects such as parkades, high-rises, pools, community centers, and commercial buildings, including the supply and installation of tower cranes.
We are looking for an experienced FORMWORK CARPENTER to join our team.
Jobsite location: Vancouver/Coquitlam/Surrey/Langley area.
Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut,assemble and install wood or engineered formwork for concrete structures like walls, slabs, beams, and footings.
- Follow construction plans to make sure the formwork is built correctly.
- Set up formwork to be level, stable, and strong enough to hold concrete.
- Follow safety rules and wear protective gear on-site.
- Work well with other team members.
- Keep tools and equipment in good condition.
- Do other tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience in carpentry or construction but we are always willing to train excellent candidates.
- Can read blueprints and drawings.
- Knowledge of formwork materials (PERI, DOKA ,etc.).
- Able to measure and cut materials accurately.
- Fit to work in all weather conditions.
- Skilled with carpentry tools (saws, drills, hammers).
- Ability to work well with others.
- Carpenter certification is a plus.
