Our client, a leading manufacturing organization is looking to hire a Procurement & Supply Chain Lead to join their growing team on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities
Procurement & Supplier Management
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for direct and indirect materials.
- Source, qualify, and manage suppliers to ensure cost, quality, delivery, and supply continuity.
- Lead strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, contracts, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Identify supply risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Supply Chain Planning
- Lead materials planning, inventory management, and replenishment activities.
- Support demand forecasting, S&OP processes, and production planning.
- Analyze supply trends to prevent shortages and optimize inventory levels.
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Product teams to improve planning accuracy.
Manufacturing & Leadership Support
- Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, and suppliers to ensure material availability and production readiness.
- Support new product launches, engineering changes, and component transitions.
- Mentor purchasing team members and improve procurement processes and best practices.
- Monitor key metrics including supplier performance, inventory turns, forecast accuracy, and delivery performance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or materials management.
- Experience in electronics manufacturing, hardware, industrial technology, or similar environments.
- Strong experience with global suppliers, materials planning, forecasting, and inventory management.
- Experience leading projects, mentoring teams, and driving process improvements.
- Proficiency with MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
