Capital City Emergency Veterinary Hospital is a privately owned emergency and urgent care veterinary hospital proudly serving Fredericton and surrounding communities. As the sister hospital to Port City Emergency Veterinary Hospital, we combine the support of an established emergency veterinary network with a locally focused, independent approach.
We are seeking enthusiastic, compassionate, and organized Client Care Representatives (CCRs) to join our growing team. As the first point of contact for our clients, you'll play a vital role in creating a positive experience during what can often be a stressful time. Your professionalism, empathy, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment will help ensure exceptional client service while supporting our veterinary team in delivering outstanding patient care.
Responsibilities
As a Client Care Representative, you will:
- Welcome clients and their pets with warmth, professionalism, and compassion.
- Answer incoming calls, triage inquiries, and schedule appointments efficiently.
- Register patients and accurately enter client and patient information into our electronic medical record system.
- Provide clear and accurate information regarding hospital services, procedures, and estimated costs.
- Process invoices and payments.
- Support the medical team with client communication and follow-up as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
- Handle client concerns with empathy, professionalism, and excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with teammates to ensure smooth daily operations in a busy emergency hospital.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in customer service, reception, or veterinary medicine (preferred but not required).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Confidence working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Compassion for clients and their pets, particularly during emergency situations.
- Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn new software quickly.
What We Offer
- Competitive hourly wage: $18.00–$22.00/hour, based on experience.
- Rotating schedule: 4 days on / 4 days off, with shifts between 7:00 a.m. and 12:00 a.m.
