Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable Delivery/Courier Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires a valid driver’s license, cell phone, good navigation skills and an excellent knowledge of Greater Victoria from Sooke to Sidney. You can expect to work one or two days per week and sometimes a full week when our full-time drivers are away, Monday to Friday.
Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport documents and packages to designated locations
- Verify delivery orders and ensure accuracy of shipments before departure
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues
- Skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong navigation skills with familiarity with GPS devices or mapping software
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet delivery deadlines
- Good communication skills for interacting with team members and customers
Pay: $150.00-$225.00 per day
