Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes, supporting the kitchen operations, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, food safety, and delivering excellent food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients
- Cook menu items with attention to quality, presentation, and timely delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation
- Support the team during busy service periods by efficiently managing multiple orders
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and restaurant policies to uphold health standards
- Assist with inventory management and restocking
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant kitchen, or food industry preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and good communication abilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings if required
- A positive attitude and a passion for delivering excellent customer service
