Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and adherence to safety standards. This role requires a strong understanding of welding techniques, blueprint reading, and mechanical processes to produce high-quality products for various industrial applications. The position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects including ductwork, structural steel, and custom fabrications in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Perform TIG welding on various metals, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety protocols
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine fabrication requirements
- Use hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment such as press brake machines and plasma cutters to shape and assemble components
- Operate cranes, forklifts, and rigging equipment safely to move heavy materials and finished products
- Measure materials accurately using calipers, tape measures, and other precision tools; perform basic math calculations for measurements and tolerances
- Fabricate ductwork, structural parts, or custom components according to specifications
- Assist with assembly of fabricated parts into final products or systems
- Maintain a clean and organized work area; adhere to all safety procedures and protocols
Qualifications
- Proven experience in TIG welding (preferably with MIG welding experience as well) in a manufacturing or construction environment
- Mechanical knowledge of machinery, tools, and fabrication processes
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Familiarity with rigging, crane operation, plasma cutting, press brake machines, and machining tools
- Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and assembly procedures
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during fabrication processes
- Experience with ductwork installation or construction projects is a plus
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $19.00-$28.00 per hour
