Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in managing client accounts, processing payments, and ensuring accurate financial records. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining precise records, supporting accounts receivable processes, and collaborating with team members to optimize financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and process client invoices using an external invoicing program
- Record client invoices and payments using Quickbooks
- Maintain detailed records of client accounts for audit purposes
- Reconcile monthly Visa statement
Requirements
- Post secondary education in a related field
- 3 years experience working in an office environment
- Proven experience with Quickbooks accounting software is preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes, bookkeeping, and basic accounting principles
- Excellent data entry skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written
- Basic math skills necessary for financial calculations and analysis
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Pay: From $62,760.00 per year
