We are seeking Documentation Specialist for our Quality Control Department. These are full-time entry-level positions with significant opportunity for growth and long-term employment within a stable and growing organization.
The Documentation Specialist is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in digital systems to ensure information integrity and accessibility.
Key Responsibilities
Documentation Specialists perform a variety of tasks to manage and maintain accurate records, including:
- Entering and updating data from paper documents, digital files, or other sources into databases and spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Verifying and correcting data by comparing entries against source documents to identify discrepancies and maintain data integrity.
- Organizing and maintaining records in both digital and physical formats for easy retrieval and compliance with data security protocols.
- Generating reports and presenting data in a clear, understandable format for internal use or analysis.
- Supporting other departments by retrieving data, processing invoices, or digitizing client records while maintaining confidentiality.
- Performing additional administrative tasks such as scanning documents, managing files, and assisting with data management projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Successful Documentation Specialists should possess:
- Fast and accurate typing skills with proficiency in touch typing.
- Attention to detail to ensure error-free data entry and verification.
- Proficiency with software tools such as Microsoft Excel, and other databases or spreadsheet applications.
- Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and supervisors.
- Confidentiality awareness to protect sensitive information
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
- Wage range $23 to $25 an hour
