Command Fishing & Pipe Recovery (CFPR) base location in Edmonton Alberta is proud to provide this IMMEDIATE opportunity for a Wireline (Pipe Recovery) Driver/ Rigger. This position safely transports Pipe Recovery equipment and materials to and from client well sites utilizing the company specific 5- ton line truck.

WHAT IT TAKES TO DO THE JOB:
- Do you have a passion for oilfield services work having three (3) years or more of specific driving experience with the commercial operation of 5 ton vehicles, i.e. ( line trucks) ideally in an oilfield services environment ?
- The ability to pass pre-employment drug/ alcohol ,physical demands ( lifting up to 50 lbs testing as a bonifide job requirement.

- A typical day on the job (once trained) will involve having responsibility for and knowledgeable with the safe operation and transportation of the Pipe Recovery 5 ton line truck loaded with intervention tools to and from client well sites, as well as assisting the Well Intervention Pipe Recovery Specialist in the performance of their duties having the capability of “ rolling up the sleeves and jumping in where required “while on well sites that includes rigging up and rigging down operations; basic knowledge of building basic tool strings, assembly of basic pressure control equipment and other duties as assigned.
WHATS IN IT FOR YOU:
- In return for your HARD WORK during your assigned shift of 22 days on and 6 days off you will receive a guaranteed base salary of $45,000 to $ 48,000 per year PLUS a day rate of $600.00 per day when actively assigned to a job. **Trainees until deemed competent will work under the guidance of a mentor and will receive a day rate of $ 300.00 per day. ·

- Residing within a one hour radius from the Nisku Command shop or having the ability to relocate to the Edmonton region.

- Working a shift schedule of 22 days on duty/ followed by 6 days off duty.
- Valid oilfield certifications tickets are also required in order to be considered.
THE POSITION- In this position, you will be based out of the Edmonton/Nisku location, travelling to various oilwell sites throughout Central Alberta and Saskatchewan .You be available for duty on a 24/ 7 basis during your rotational assigned shift assignment and also available on a rotational basis for relief shift assignments at various other CFPR Base locations other than their own home base location.

What You’ll Do:
- Safely transport Pipe Recovery equipment and materials to and from well sites using company vehicles.
- Assist the Pipe Recovery Specialist with rig‑in/rig‑out, basic tool string assembly, and pressure control setup.
- Perform pre‑trip/post‑trip inspections, maintain accurate logbooks, and ensure all equipment is operational and compliant.
- Participate in safety meetings, JSAs, hazard assessments, and ensure adherence to all HSE standards.
- Maintain line truck and jack truck readiness, troubleshoot minor issues, and report mechanical concerns promptly.
What experience and qualifications you will bring:
- Valid Class 3 driver’s license with air endorsement and clean driver’s abstract.
- Minimum 3 years commercial driving experience.
- Prior oilfield/drilling/service rig experience is considered a strong asset.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic troubleshooting on equipment.
- Ability to work long hours in demanding field conditions, including a 22‑on/6‑off rotational schedule with 24/7 on‑call availability.
- Having the ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 pounds) unassisted, capable of standing, walking, bending for extended periods.
- Comfortable working long hours in remote locations.
