As our next Coining Setter, you’ll be at the forefront of supporting production operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing tooling and press performance. Your expertise in manufacturing processes and tooling setup will be essential to ensure product quality, operational efficiency, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

- Inspect tooling and adaptors, identifying damage and completing reports
- Troubleshoot machine and part defects to maintain production quality
- Replace and adjust tooling components including punches, rods, and adaptors
- Operate and safely adjust presses according to process requirements
- Perform SPC checks, density checks, and quality inspections
- Conduct first-piece inspections and verify conformance to specifications
- Perform machining operations such as tapping, drilling, reaming, and burnishing
- Change tools and maintain equipment across multiple press systems
- Ensure compliance with Quality Management and Health & Safety systems
- Support continuous improvement and production efficiency initiatives
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working with presses and secondary equipment (preferred)
- Strong understanding of SPC and quality control processes
- Ability to read measuring instruments (micrometers, verniers)
- Basic math and technical problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of safety procedures including lockout/tagout and guarding
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Experience as a sizing/coining press operator
- Post-secondary education in a related technical field
- Forklift certification/license
- Experience in automotive manufacturing environments
