Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our facility, ensuring that all shipments are processed efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality in shipping and receiving operations.
Duties
- Receive incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging items securely and labeling them appropriately.
- Perform order picking tasks to fulfill customer orders accurately.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels using SAGE 300 inventory control.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while handling materials and operating equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to improve shipping and receiving processes.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock accuracy.
- Assist in the organization of the warehouse to optimize space and efficiency.
Requirements
- Proficiency in using Sage 300 or similar inventory management systems is preferred.
- Experience with order fulfillment processes is a plus.
- Strong basic math skills for accurate counting and measurement.
- Previous experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse environments is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and other departments.

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
