As a Vice President, Health & Wellness at Zeno Group, you will lead integrated communications programs and senior client relationships across biotech, consumer health, medical devices and other areas of healthcare. Working closely with executive stakeholders, agency leadership and cross-functional teams, you will develop strategies grounded in deep industry expertise, business priorities and evolving stakeholder expectations.

About the Role:
Health Communications Strategy & Executive Counsel: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives and communications leaders, developing integrated strategies that connect business priorities, stakeholder needs and reputation considerations to measurable outcomes.
Industry Expertise & Strategic Leadership: Apply deep knowledge of healthcare markets, regulatory considerations and emerging trends to help clients navigate complex business and communications challenges and identify new opportunities.
Integrated Communications Leadership: Lead complex, integrated programs across disciplines and geographies, bringing together earned, digital, social, creative, data and other capabilities to deliver cohesive client solutions.
Client Growth & Business Development: Deepen senior client relationships, identify opportunities to expand engagements and lead organic growth and new business efforts that contribute to the continued growth of the Health & Wellness practice.
Financial & Operational Leadership: Oversee account performance, forecasting, profitability, staffing and resources while balancing client needs, team effectiveness and sustainable business growth.
Team Leadership & Talent Development: Lead, mentor and develop senior and emerging talent while fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment where people can learn, grow and do their best work.
Practice Development & Innovation: Help advance Zeno's Health & Wellness capabilities by identifying emerging client needs, developing new approaches and bringing forward perspectives on the trends shaping healthcare and communications.
About You:
15+ years of experience in public relations, communications or related fields within an agency or similar environment.
8+ years of experience in Health & Wellness communications.
Proven success leading complex healthcare communications programs and senior client relationships within regulated environments.
Deep understanding of biotech, pharmaceutical, consumer health and/or medical device sectors, including market dynamics, stakeholder expectations and emerging industry trends.
Ability to translate complex scientific, business and regulatory information into clear strategies and compelling narratives.
Demonstrated success counseling senior executives and building trusted, long-term relationships with client stakeholders.
Experience leading integrated communications strategies and cross-functional teams across disciplines and geographies.
Proven success growing client relationships, expanding scopes of work and leading new business efforts.
Strong commercial and financial acumen, including experience managing budgets, forecasting, profitability and account performance.
Exceptional writing, storytelling and presentation skills, including experience leading executive-level presentations and new business pitches.
Proven leadership experience, including mentoring, developing and supporting senior and emerging talent.
Collaborative leadership style with the ability to build alignment, navigate evolving priorities and bring diverse teams together around shared goals.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience leading integrated healthcare programs across earned, digital, social, creative, data and other communications disciplines.
Experience counseling organizations through significant business, regulatory, reputation or transformation moments.
Experience contributing to healthcare practice development, thought leadership or capability innovation.
Familiarity with emerging technologies, data and AI-enabled approaches shaping healthcare communications.

Pay Range: $130,000 to $150,000 CAD/yr.
An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on
several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education,
qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic
location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any
contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits. In accordance with Ontario's Employment Standards Act (ESA), salary posting ranges can not exceed a $50,000 CAD differential and are required for any role with a maximum salary below $200,000 CAD.
