Position: General Labourer - Conveyor line sorter
Salary: $18/hour to start + $2/hr Shift Differential
Location: Edmonton Alberta
NIGHT SHIFT
Position to start immediately - 40 hours per week + Overtime
Seeking 4 Conveyor line laborers to assist with sorting out non-metal parts from metal recycling machines. This would involve removing plastics, foams, cloth, and other materials that are non metallic. Position involves lifting up to 50lbs at times non repetitive but will be on your feet majority of the day. Work is inside but can be a noisy and dusty environment (hearing protection is provided)
Position Duties:
- Sorting product coming down conveyor line into appropriate bins
- Collection of bins and dumping bins into larger holding containers
- monitoring conveyor line and if mechanical issues arise stopping the line when needed.
- Cleaning and maintaining area of work, keeping clear of tripping hazards
- Lifting up to 50lbs semi regular, walking & standing for extended periods of time
Candidates should have steel-toed boots and be able to start work immediately!
