Office Hours: Monday - Friday - 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, 35 Hours per week

Office Expectations; This position requires:

In-office fulltime, with potential to move to 3 days in office after 3-months

Attendance at additional in-office meetings, training sessions, supervision meetings, and all-staff events as required

Applicants must reside within a reasonable daily commuting distance of the office and/or assigned service area and be able to attend the office as required for operational needs

Job Description
The administrative professional we are searching for will be responsible for providing overall administrative and clerical support to the Developmental Services Program. They will also participate as a member of YSSN’s Administrative Team.
Our ideal candidate will have some very specialized skills and experiences to bring to this role. Specifically, we are seeking someone whose solid administrative competencies are rounded out with advanced knowledge of Office 365 applications and a demonstrated proficiency working in databases. This position requires someone who responds well to the challenges of a high volume/high demand environment with a strong attention to detail.
Position Requirements-
Business College or equivalent education

Experience;
-
Minimum two years’ experience in an administrative role

Advanced knowledge of Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
-
Proven experience in meeting support, including accurate and timely minute-taking, capturing key discussions, decisions, and action items
-
Familiarity with database work, data entry and statistical tracking
-
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
-
Ability to multi-task and effective organization skills
-
A strong knowledge of community resources would be a definite asset

Second language is considered an asset

An understanding of cultural diversity is considered an asset

- A valid G Drivers License, access to a reliable vehicle and adequate insurance coverage for business responsibilities, OR access to reliable transportation.
