Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
Inspect mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
Troubleshoot engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and steering issues.
Conduct routine servicing, including oil changes, filter replacements, and safety inspections.
Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify faults and complete repairs efficiently.
Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation.
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
Collaborate with maintenance teams and operators to minimize equipment downtime.
Perform welding and fabrication work as required.
Red Seal Certification as a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician or Truck and Transport Technician.
Minimum 3+ years of experience working with heavy-duty equipment or diesel trucks.
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical, and air brake systems.
Experience using diagnostic software and repair tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver s license; DZ or AZ license considered an asset.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Willingness to work shifts, overtime, or on-call when required.
