Position Overview
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused Cashier / Front Crew Member to join our team. The ideal candidate has previous cash-handling experience, is comfortable using a Point-of-Sale (POS) system, and enjoys working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
This role is perfect for someone friendly, organized, and able to multitask while delivering excellent customer service. The successful candidate will work closely with the restaurant team to ensure a positive and efficient experience for every guest.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet customers in a polite, friendly, and professional manner.
- Process customer orders and payments accurately using the POS system.
- Handle cash, debit, and credit transactions efficiently.
- Respond to customer questions and requests promptly and courteously.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front-of-house area.
- Assist with packaging orders and ensuring order accuracy.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to provide excellent customer service.
- Follow safe work practices, including proper lifting techniques and maintaining a clean workspace.
- Refer customer concerns, inquiries, or transactional issues to management when required.
- Assist with general restaurant duties as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous cashier, customer service, or restaurant experience preferred.
- Experience handling cash and operating a POS system.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Ability to take direction and adapt to changing business needs.
