ET Transport is a leading transportation company in Concord, known for providing reliable, efficient, and customer-focused logistics solutions. To support our continued growth, we are seeking a dedicated Dispatcher/Planner to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Looking for loads, FTL, LTL, cross-border
- Fully planning and dispatching outbound Van/Reefer division trucks and overseeing and directing the inbound trucks.
- Coordinating and managing driver runs and schedules
- Maintaining accurate data entry and records related to all planning on the “Planning Board”
- Help resolve all issue that arise including, and not limited to, issues with: drivers, customers, dispatchers, customs, and load booking
- After-hours dispatch via telephone as needed
- Prepare reports as required by Management
- Direct and assist dispatch employees with issues, especially after hours
- Inputting checkpoints to monitor dispatch employees and ensure accuracy
- Build strong relationships with customers/brokers and bring in new customers.
Qualifications:
- Must have at least 3 years of cross-border planning experience
- Must have experience with the following: LoadLink, DAT, Other load boards, Dispatch Software, ACE/ACI, CTPAT/PIP, Bonds, DG(Hazmat) Outlook, Microsoft applications
- Be available after hours (on-call rotation)
- Fluent in English, bilingual is an asset
- Team player in a fast-paced environment
- Strong ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to communicate over the phone
- Be persuasive and energetic
