Shipper Receiver Position Overview
The Shipper Receiver, working closely with the Warehouse Manager in a fun, fast-paced environment, will coordinate warehouse workers in maximizing efficiency and accuracy of product in-flows and out-flows.
Shipper Receiver Position by Areas of Responsibility
Inventory Management & Order Fulfillment
Duties Include:
- Planning and organizing the reception and distribution of inventory
- Ensuring accurate documentation of goods received (count and condition)
- Validating inventory (periodic checks and year-end)
- Diagnosing and correcting order fulfillment errors
Coordinating Workflows
Duties Include:
- Coordinating with sales staff to arrange order fulfillment and shipping
- Coordinating and deploying warehouse personnel to achieve efficient operations
- Coordinating shipments with in-house and external shipping vendors and maintaining excellent working relationships
Ongoing Work
Duties Include:
- Performing same duties as warehouse team when required
- Training newly hired warehouse workers in Arrow Tire procedures
- Maintaining a clean, organized and safe shipping receiving workstation
Working Conditions
- Full-time position based on 40 hours per week plus overtime
- Warehouse hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm and Saturday 8:00am to 1:00pm
- Work environment: multi-bay warehouse and yard (year-round)
- Noisy work environment (e.g., phones, lift equipment, etc.)
- Some sitting (workstation, equipment and vehicles)
- Standing and walking on concrete
- Wearing employer provided PPE (mandatory use in warehouse)

- Street parking (unmetered)
Training & Development
- One-on-one and online training (Goodyear Training Centre, Bistrainer & Motor Safety Association)
- Bundle of required courses and certificate validations
Job Specification
- Grade 12 Diploma or GED
- Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of the tire / automotive industry
- Working knowledge of warehouse logistics
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent in-person, phone and written communication skills
- Ability to capture and recall details (customer names, tire specifications, inventory locations etc.)
- Ability to review invoices / shipping docs and recognize discrepancies
- English proficiency (minimum of CLB 4) in reading, writing, listening & speaking
- Ability to lift, push / pull, roll 60lb items
- Strong commitment to health & safety
- Required CSA approved M-Rated safety footwear
- Valid driver’s license
- Working knowledge of: Costar
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.30-$25.08 per hour
