Job Summary
Uniglass is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automotive Glass Shop Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive automotive industry knowledge, and hands-on experience with repair and installation processes. This role is pivotal in ensuring high-quality service delivery, maintaining safety standards, and driving shop efficiency. The Automotive Glass Shop Manager will be responsible for managing staff, coordinating projects, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the automotive glass shop team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality workmanship.
- Oversee the installation, repair, and replacement of automotive glass components, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Manage inventory levels of tools, materials, and supplies necessary for glass repairs and replacements.
- Schedule appointments and allocate resources effectively to meet customer deadlines.
- Manage customer interactions including but not limited to: providing quotes, following up with customers to schedule repairs, communicating with insurance companies regarding customer claims.
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment conducive to safety and productivity.
- Handle customer inquiries or concerns professionally to promote customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Conduct regular inspections of work performed by technicians to uphold quality standards.
Experience
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting associated with auto glass installation.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with safety protocols specific to automotive repair shops is essential.
