Overview
We are seeking experienced and reliable Flat Roofers to join our construction team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining flat roofs on commercial and residential buildings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing, construction, and carpentry, with a focus on safety, quality workmanship, and efficiency. Prior handyman experience is a plus. Duties
- Install new flat roofing systems using various materials such as torch modified membrane, build up roofing system tar and gravel.
- Repair and maintain existing flat roofs to ensure durability and weather resistance
- Measure and cut roofing materials accurately according to project specifications
- Use hand tools including hammers, screwdrivers, knives, and caulking guns to complete tasks efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure proper installation
- Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials and equipment safely and effectively
- Apply caulking and sealants to ensure waterproofing of roof joints and seams
- Assist with other construction or carpentry tasks as needed on-site
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools commonly used in roofing and construction projects
- Strong background in construction, carpentry, or related trades
- Experience with caulking techniques for waterproofing applications
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Capable of heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks for extended periods
- Handyman experience is advantageous for versatile job performance
- Good problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work safely at heights and in various weather conditions

Pay: $20.89-$30.00 per hour
