Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchenware are properly cleaned and sanitized for daily use. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for supporting a smooth-running food service operation. Prior experience in restaurant, hotel, or hospitality settings is a plus but not required.
Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure proper storage of clean items
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation standards
- Restock supplies such as dish soap, towels, and cleaning materials to keep the station well-equipped
- Assist in maintaining overall cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors and work surfaces
- Support the food service team by providing clean dishes promptly for meal service
Skills
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards
- Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality environments is preferred
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations and food handling safety
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy meal times
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail in cleaning tasks
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
