Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook and Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role involves preparing high-quality pizzas, pastas, donairs and more, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent food handling skills, and experience working in a fast-paced restaurant setting. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients while ensuring The line and coolers are stocked
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards
- Ensure all food safety protocols are followed, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
- Support the team during busy hours by managing multiple tasks seamlessly
- Follow serving procedures to ensure timely delivery of orders to guests
- Closing duties such as, food prep for the following day, daily cleaning duties including dishwashing, and restocking all bags, napkins and other take out products, closing the line.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours
Experience
- Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques is a plus
- Experience working in a restaurant or food industry environment is highly desirable
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment is beneficial
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role
Pay: $16.00-$19.00 per hour
