Job Summary
Double Clean Inc. is looking for a reliable and versatile Restoration Technician / Handyman with painting experience. This is a hands-on role involving restoration work, general repairs, and painting on residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate is comfortable performing a variety of tasks and is willing to assist wherever needed.
Responsibilities
Interior and exterior painting.
Drywall repair, patching, taping, and mudding.
Basic carpentry and handyman work.
Water damage mitigation and flood clean-up.
Water extraction and equipment setup.
Demolition and tear-outs of damaged materials.
Assist with mold remediation and restoration projects.
Operate restoration equipment such as air movers and dehumidifiers.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Respond to emergency restoration calls when required.
Requirements
Experience in painting is required.
Experience with drywall repair, carpentry, or general handyman work is an asset.
Experience in restoration, water damage mitigation, or construction is preferred.
Physically able to lift equipment and perform manual labor.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work overtime or respond to emergency calls when necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
IICRC certifications (asset).
Experience using restoration equipment.
Experience working in residential and commercial properties.
