AMI Attachments Inc is a rapidly growing heavy equipment attachment manufacturer located just outside of Kitchener/Waterloo. As an industry leader in design and manufacturing, AMI works to create quality, innovative, heavy equipment attachment solutions that are used in construction, mining, demolition, and the oil and gas industries throughout North America.
AMI is looking to add to their team and currently has an opening for an experienced Machine Operator for day shift. Hours of work are 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Thursday & Friday 7:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
JOB PURPOSE
The Machine Operator will operate a variety of machines such as Line Boring, Plasma Cutter.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience operating line boring machine or plasma cutter
- Experience with measuring equipment
- Able to read blueprints & drawings
- Able to perform machine set ups, use of tools
- Attention to detail - grind & ensure all parts are cleaned of debris
· Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
