Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Conduct product demonstrations, highlighting features and benefits to encourage purchase decisions
- Engage in upselling and cross-selling to maximize sales opportunities
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and ensuring product availability
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering personalized recommendations
- Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and organizing the sales floor
- Utilize strong communication skills to explain technical products clearly to diverse customers
- Demonstrate effective time management to ensure efficient service during busy periods
- Uphold phone etiquette when handling inquiries or follow-up calls
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail sales, customer service, or technology sales preferred
- Bilingual abilities (English and additional language) are a plus to serve a diverse clientele
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical products clearly
- Organizational skills for managing stock, displays, and POS transactions efficiently
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Experience with merchandising, cashiering, POS systems, and cash handling preferred
- Ability to perform product demos confidently and effectively promote sales through upselling techniques
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Professional phone etiquette for customer interactions over the phone or via digital communication platforms
- A positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills to foster a welcoming shopping environment
