In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Plan, supervise, and coordinate all of the subsidiary’s logistics activities (receiving, shipping, warehousing, and inventory turnover of materials in accordance with established procedures)

Coordinate internal procurement (preparing materials for production orders based on various priorities to ensure the handling and distribution of components to different workstations)

Monitor inventory accuracy, inventory age, inventory turnover, receipts, and shipments by performing various checks
-
Analyze and manage inventory reconciliation issues in our systems

Manage the performance of the department and its employees while seeking solutions to improve productivity and quality within the sector

Supervise department employees

Assess workforce needs within the sector and ensure the optimization of material flow required to support the production pace of the various product lines

Oversee transportation and customs-related activities and ensure compliance with applicable regulations

Promote and enforce various occupational health and safety standards and guidelines

Collaborate closely with various departments to deliver quality service within the operational framework

With the following skills and qualities, you will thrive in this role:

High school diploma or college diploma in materials logistics, industrial engineering, business administration, or any other relevant experience

3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and a minimum of 3 years of experience in personnel management

Functional English (written and spoken)

Ability to manage priorities effectively

Ability to work and communicate as part of a team

Attention to detail and organizational skills

Knowledge of warehouse management and operational production logistics for material flows would be an asset

Management and interpersonal skills, experience in labor relations, and a proven track record of leadership
