Half Moon Dentistry is a modern, family focused dental practice in South Surrey. Originally established as a pediatric dental office, we have expanded to provide comprehensive dental care for patients of all ages while continuing to care for our wonderful pediatric families.
We are looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Sterilization Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a healthcare environment, takes pride in keeping things organized, and wants to be part of a supportive dental team.

Responsibilities
Clean, disinfect, package, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments according to infection prevention and control protocols
Monitor and document sterilization cycles
Prepare and organize instruments and procedure trays for clinical staff
Maintain sterilization records and perform routine equipment testing
Turn over treatment rooms between patients
Restock operatories and clinical supply areas
Receive, organize, and monitor inventory and supplies
Assist with maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment
Support the dental team with other clinical duties as needed
Qualifications
Previous experience in a dental office is an asset but not required
Knowledge of infection prevention and control protocols is an asset
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Reliable, punctual, and dependable
Fluent in english
Schedule
Part time
Mondays only to start and once training schedule wil include wenesday and thursdays
No evenings or weekends
