- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
- Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management to ensure adequate supplies for meal preparation.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure safe consumption of all dishes.
- Participate in menu planning and development by providing input on seasonal ingredients and dish creativity.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role within the food service industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations, including proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team in a busy kitchen setting.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus but not required; passion for cooking is essential.
