Nanda & Associate Lawyers is a growing full-service law firm with an expanding Corporate/Commercial practice. We act for businesses, lenders, landlords, and investors on a wide range of secured lending, corporate transactions, and commercial leasing matters.
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Law Clerk who can support and independently manage files involving lending, asset/share transactions, and commercial leases.
Key ResponsibilitiesLending / Financing
- Prepare and review loan and security documentation
- Conduct PPSA searches, registrations, and discharges
- Manage conditions precedent and closing deliverables
- Prepare closing agendas and reporting packages
Corporate / M&A (Asset & Share Deals)
- Assist with asset and share purchase transactions
- Prepare closing documents, resolutions, and certificates
- Conduct corporate due diligence
- Maintain and update minute books
Commercial Leasing
- Draft and review commercial leases, amendments, and renewals
- Assist with lease negotiations and reporting
- Prepare notices, consents, and landlord/tenant documentation
- Coordinate with clients, landlords, and brokers
Requirements (Important)
- Minimum 5+ years corporate/commercial law clerk experience
- Strong experience in at least TWO of the following:
- Lending / secured transactions
- Asset or share purchase transactions
- Commercial leasing
- Knowledge of PPSA, corporate records, and deal closings
- Ability to manage files independently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
