Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and heavy equipment operation. Duties
- Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, and cranes to load, unload, and move goods within the warehouse
- Manage shipping and receiving processes, ensuring proper documentation and handling of goods
- Pack and package products securely for shipment, maintaining quality standards
- Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and cycle counts
- Support warehouse organization by maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets efficiently
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance when necessary
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, manufacturing, or construction environments
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Experience with order picking, packaging, shipping & receiving processes
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and maintenance
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in order fulfillment tasks
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols
- Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for specific equipment operation
