ENJOYMENT – AUTONOMY – COLLABORATION – TEAM MANAGEMENT
Are you looking for a role where you can have a real impact on a team’s day-to-day operations? Where no two days are ever quite the same? Where you can combine the joy of managing people with the satisfaction of getting hands-on with technical projects?
Perfect. Keep reading. We have exactly what you’re looking for.
Who is Groupe Sani-Tech?
Groupe Sani-Tech is a specialized contractor in the construction industry. We manufacture, distribute, and install architectural products for buildings on-site. We’ve even been the largest in our field in Quebec for over 50 years. Not bad, right?! Our 65 employees will tell you: it’s a really great place to spend 40 hours a week!
More specifically, our manufacturing team produces solid laminate partitions and locker cabinets sold across Canada. Our products are manufactured in a newly expanded facility using state-of-the-art machinery. A great team of technicians supports factory operations and handles projects of all sizes, such as school construction, aquatic centers, commercial space renovations, hospitals, sports stadiums, and more.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing
You’ll lead a team of production technicians and drafters. You set the tone—you inspire, mentor, and help the people around you grow. And as a bonus, you’ll stay hands-on by dedicating 30 to 40% of your time to technical projects. The best of both worlds, as they say.
In your managerial role, you will:
- Supervise and develop your team with a supportive, motivating, and empowering management style;
- Monitor operational objectives (shop drawings, customer service, purchasing) by facilitating priority management;
- Handle incoming requests (email and phone) and ensure that every customer is in good hands;
- Identify and implement opportunities for improvement.
In your technical role (30–40% of the time), you will:
- Analyze bids, architectural plans, and estimates;
- Produce and validate shop drawings and on-site installation sheets;
- Manage raw material purchases and monitor deadlines;
- Serve as the technical point of contact for the production team and clients.
What we offer
- Flexible schedule — start and end your day at your own pace;
- Free Friday afternoons, every week;
- Hybrid remote work;
- 4 weeks of vacation;
- Performance bonus based on company results, paid out just before the holidays to treat you a little extra;
- Group insurance, RRSP, sick leave, EAP, 24/7 telemedicine;
- On-site gym and reimbursement for sports activities;
- Real team-building activities (BBQs, recognition gala, golf tournament… we mean business);
- Group trips (Our last trip was to Paris);
- A culture where your opinion matters and where you have a real impact.
What we’re looking for
The profile
- DEC in architecture or industrial design, or DEP in architectural drafting (or equivalent);
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment in a similar role;
- 2 to 3 years of team management experience;
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and a strong understanding of plans and specifications;
- Bilingual in French and English—a large portion of our clients are outside Quebec.
The person we envision
- A caring, unifying leader who manages with heart and clarity;
- Equally at ease in a team meeting as in a complex technical project;
- Known for your organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to juggle priorities;
- Strategic thinker with business acumen—you understand the impact of your decisions on profitability and operations;
- Curious, adaptable, and always seeking improvement.
Does this sound like you? We’d love to meet you.
