Responsibilities
- Cook with Purpose: Bring the Mee Bar menu to life by preparing, cooking, and plating dishes with a sharp eye for quality, consistency, and retro diner flair.
- Deliver Warmth: Serve up incredible food and beverages with genuine hospitality, efficiency, and a welcoming attitude.
- Own Your Station: Uphold rigorous food safety and sanitation standards at all times—because great food starts with a pristine kitchen.
- Keep the Engine Running: Assist with proactive inventory management, expertly stocking and rotating supplies to keep service seamless.
- Be a Hospitality Ambassador: Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries with empathy and resolving any hiccups promptly and professionally.
- Respect the Space: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all kitchen equipment, utensils, and surrounding dining areas.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen, restaurant, or fast-paced food service environment.
- Strong foundational knowledge of culinary techniques, meal assembly, and cooking methods.
- A non-negotiable commitment to food safety standards and proper handling procedures.
- A natural focus on customer satisfaction and an empathetic approach to service.
- The ability to thrive, stay cool, and maintain sharp attention to detail when the Time Out Market rush hits.
- Excellent communication skills and a relentlessly positive, team-first attitude.
- The physical stamina to handle an active shift, including standing for extended periods, lifting, and moving supplies as needed.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including the bustling weekends and holidays.
