Job Summary – Room Attendant
Quality Inn & Suites Amsterdam Fredericton
The Room Attendant is a key member of our housekeeping team, responsible for ensuring that guest rooms and public areas are clean, comfortable, and maintained to our high standards. This role reports to the Head Housekeeper.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and prepare guest rooms according to brand and cleanliness standards
- Make beds, vacuum carpets, dust surfaces, and clean bathrooms
- Replenish towels, toiletries, and in-room supplies
- Maintain cleanliness in hallways and public areas as required
- Follow proper safety and sanitation procedures at all times
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests
- Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to management
- Assist with light maintenance or laundry tasks as needed
- Work both independently and as part of a team to meet daily room quotas
Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- High attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Physically capable of standing, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs
- Positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent guest service
