We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer with previous landscaping experience to join our team for residential and commercial projects throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
This position mainly involves general labour and landscaping duties, with some hardscaping work such as interlock installation, stonework, retaining walls, and site preparation. The ideal candidate must be physically fit, dependable, comfortable working outdoors, and willing to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform general labour and landscaping duties on residential and commercial job sites.
* Assist with excavation, grading, backfilling, and compacting.
* Load, unload, carry, and organize tools, equipment, soil, gravel, stone, and other materials.
* Assist with the installation of interlocking pavers, flagstone, natural stone, and retaining walls.
* Help measure, cut, and position pavers and stones when required.
* Safely operate plate compactors, wheelbarrows, power tools, and basic hand tools.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
* Follow instructions from supervisors and work closely with other crew members.
Qualifications & Requirements:
* Previous landscaping or outdoor general labour experience is required.
* Hardscaping, interlock, stonework, or construction experience is considered an asset.
* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work.
* Comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions.
* Reliable, punctual, hardworking, and willing to learn.
* A valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation to different job sites across the GTA are preferred.
Benefits & Compensation:
* Competitive hourly wage of $20.00–$25.00+ based on experience and skills.
